As a former media executive, I understand the importance of beautiful clothing in a woman's life - professional and personal. Fashion has always been a part of my life.
My maternal grandmother (Nana) was a successful couturière for Chicago socialites. I can remember pouring over her Vogue pattern books and creating paper dolls from last season's books. My mother sewed all of the clothes that my sister and me wore when we were younger. We learned about fabrics, style and quality at an early age. Mom subscribed to the major fashion magazines that I read from cover to cover. Fashion and style were prominent during my formative years.
I have always had a passion for fashion ... working in retail during the summer while in college and later working as a buyer trainee at Marshall Fields. Now, my passion for fashion has led me to an exciting new chapter in my life - that of a wardrobe consultant and stylist, showing exclusively and by-appointment only the Carlisle and Per Se collections.
The Holiday 2009 Collections are available exclusively through appointment-only trunk shows at my LA, Hollywood Hills home daily from November 6 through November 11, 2009 in a boutique-like environment (days, evenings or weekends). Using my fashion savvy and expert wardrobe building skills, I help each client achieve a look that suits her taste, her personality, her lifestyle and makes her dazzling.
